Dr Lorenzo Cristoni is a Consultant in Acute Medicine at Kingstone Hospital. He has a 22 years experience in point of care ultrasound, ranging from advanced echo to ultrasound of the intestine . He teaches nationally in FUSIC heart, FAMUS, FUSIC HD, Core EM and advanced abdominal courses and he has enthusiastically mentored tens of doctors seeking accreditation in different curricula. His main field of interests are lung ultrasound, echo and VExUS, being particularly committed in diffusing the diagnostic US approach to dyspnea in critical patients at the point of care. He has contributed to the largest international study on lung US in Covid-19 and he is a reviewer for The Ultrasound Journal. He is the founder and the director of POCUS Frimley.
